With great gratitude, we say farewell to Stedinger, who has passed away in his final home in Australia.

Stedinger was born with us in 2000. As a son of the exceptional sire Sandro Hit out of Bold Fantasy (by Landadel x Futuro), he was instrumental in establishing and shaping the dressage breeding program of our stallion station over many years.

He attracted international attention early on: in 2002, Stedinger was crowned Champion Stallion of the Oldenburg Licensing. This was followed by the title of Reserve Main Premium Stallion and an outstanding 70-day stallion performance test, achieving a total index score of 131 points.

For many years, Stedinger stood at stud as one of our most influential dressage stallions. He later moved to Australia, where he left a lasting mark in both sport and breeding. Under Gina Montgomery, he achieved significant success in the Australian dressage sport.

Stedinger leaves behind an exceptional breeding legacy. He is the sire of over 40 licensed stallions, more than 100 FEI sport horses, and numerous internationally successful Grand Prix offspring, including Spirit of the Age OLD (Bernadette Brune), Fil Rouge (Laurence Roos), Stand by Me OLD (Lisa Müller) and Santiago (Simone Pearce). Many of his offspring have also been successful at the highest level in show jumping and eventing.
