Last weekend, several of his offspring once again proved their class at CSI competitions in Palermo (ITA), Bonheiden (BEL) and Barcelona (ESP). One of Cardento's best-known offspring, Katanga van 't Dingeshof, made her mark in Barcelona. Ridden by Nicola Philippaerts, she was one of the few combinations to achieve two clear rounds for Team Belgium in the Nations Cup final. She is bred by Jaak Vermeulen and finished in third place individually.
Strong results in Palermo – Coppa degli Assi
During the 39th Coppa degli Assi (CSI3*) in Palermo, several Cardento offspring managed to jump their way into the prizes:
Victory for Cardento son in Bonheiden
The Cardento line was also visible at the highest level in Bonheiden (BEL).
Chasspleen Flamingo Z (by Cardento) jumped to victory under Santiago Diaz Ortega in the CSI2*-145 cm Longines Ranking class with a double clear round in 46.19 seconds. The grey gelding is bred by Alexandra Rantet.

Finally, the well-known Katanga van 't Dingeshof (by Cardento) also made her mark. Under Nicola Philippaerts, she jumped double clear again for Team Belgium. She is bred by Jaak Vermeulen.
This series of top rankings once again confirms Cardento's reputation as one of the most influential jumping stallions of recent decades — his offspring excel in ability, attitude and competitive spirit.
