After a two-year break, the German Amateur Championship returned to the international eventing tournament in Hanover-Langenhagen, which had already hosted this exciting event four times before. A total of 16 talented pairs competed in a three-star competition (CCI3*-S) to win the coveted title. One notable duo that attracted attention was Johanna Wetjen-Sanders from Rastede and her Oldenburg mare Wild West Candy Rose, whose sire is Casino Grande. Johanna Wetjen-Sanders is also the breeder of the mare.
Johanna Wetjen-Sanders and Wild West Candy Rose showed outstanding performances and secured fourth place in the three-star test with an impressive dressage score of only 34.2 minus points.
We sincerely congratulate Johanna Wetjen-Sanders on this great success because we know how remarkable such successes are, especially with homebred horses.
Congratulations!
