Our stallions Comthago VDL and Grand Slam VDL, both ridden by Marlon Zanotelli, recorded fantastic results last weekend at Jumping Amsterdam.

Grand Slam VDL started twice and jumped both rounds clear. In the 1.60m Grand Prix there was a nice 8th place and a day earlier he finished 9th in the 1.50m Telegraaf Prize.

Comthago VDL made a great debut at 1.50m level during Jumping Amsterdam. The stallion showed that even this level is no problem and jumped a fantastic clear round with a 12th place as final result. A day earlier, on Saturday, he was clear in the 1.45m class in which he finished 11th.

The Grand Prix of Amsterdam was won by the powerfully jumping Zirocco Blue son Elysium (mf. Coronado). With his rider Hans Dieter-Dreher, he was the fastest clear in the jump-off. Elysium also came 2nd in the 1.50m class on Friday. The 11-year-old gelding was bred in Germany by Manfred Tummes.
